Kevin J. Wimmer, Esq. is an associate attorney at Genser Dubow Genser & Cona. Mr. Wimmer concentrates his practice in the areas of estate administration, probate, estate planning, fiduciary accountings, guardianship proceedings, estate litigation and wrongful death compromises. Mr. Wimmer is licensed in both New York and Florida and assists GDGC’s snowbirds with their retirement and estate planning.
In addition to his law degree, Mr. Wimmer holds an LLM in Taxation. His advanced degree and background in tax laws allows him to handle sophisticated tax planning and wealth transfer strategies for high net worth individuals. His knowledge of the tax code and ability to think outside the box as well as research the latest tax planning strategies make him a valuable asset to the firm. Mr. Wimmer also has extensive litigation experience which enables him to handle contested estates, trials in all counties throughout New York and Long Island, and other complex litigation matters.
Mr. Wimmer earned a B.A. in Political Science from Syracuse University, his Juris Doctor Degree from Brooklyn Law School and his LL.M. in Taxation from New York Law School. He is admitted to the Bar in New York, New Jersey and Florida.
