
An associate with the firm since 2006, Paul manages the Trust and Estates Department of the firm while concentrating his practice in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate, estate litigation, and special needs planning. Paul advises high-networth clients regarding sophisticated estate and tax planning and concentrates in second marriages and blended families.
Prior to joining GDGC, Paul served as counsel to the Nassau County Public Administrator. Paul currently serves as the Vice Co-Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee and is an adjunct professor at Dowling College, where he also serves on the Board of Directors for Dowling’s Center for Intergenerational Policy and Practice.
Paul has been featured in Long Island Business News, Investor’s Business Daily and Newsday’s Ask the Expert column. He has authored numerous articles which have appeared in the Nassau Lawyer, the Suffolk Lawyer and the Daily News. Paul has also been featured as a guest on various radio and television programs, including News 12 Long Island, WBAB, WFAN and WLNY TV 10/55.
Paul received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Dowling College and his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law. Paul is a former volunteer firefighter and EMT.
