SENIOR DREAMS COME TRUE GRANTING WISHES TO LOW-INCOME SENIORS

Senior Dreams Come True benefits low-income seniors on Long Island by granting wishes – from helping a senior meet basic needs to fulfilling a lifelong dream. Senior Dreams Come True is proud to have granted such wishes as:

Plane fare to bring families together
Home improvements and repairs
Home modifications such as wheelchair accessibility and chair lifts
Experimental medical treatment not covered by insurance
Prescription drug coverage, including Medicare doughnut hole coverage
Transportation to an event or to see a loved one
Formal attire for a special event
Dinner and a show
Tickets to a sporting event
Spa services

OUR MISSION

Many Long Island seniors with limited income are finding that life is more of a challenge when even a simple need or wish, which most of us take for granted, cannot be fulfilled.

As advocates for seniors, Cona Elder Law, a leading elder law and estate planning firm on Long Island, founded Senior Dreams Come True, a subsidiary of Cona Elder Law Charitable Events, to grant wishes to seniors with limited means. The firm helps many low-income clients on a pro bono basis and created this charitable program to make a difference and enrich the lives of a few well-deserving seniors.

Wishes are granted on a revolving basis throughout the year.

ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Age: 65 or over

APPLICATION

Complete the Wish Request Form

Submit a letter or statement under 750 words describing the senior’s need

Document or describe how the senior has given to others and contributed to society

WISH REQUEST

Please provide the name, address, telephone number and email address for the proposed wish recipient and the person completing this form (if different) to:
