Cona Elder Law’s priority is placing the health and safety of others above all else. Our office is reopening on Monday June 15, 2020 for all clients and their families.

As the pandemic abates here on Long Island and Phase 2 permits our office to reopen we are moving forward with extreme caution and have implemented the following office policies and practices recommended by the CDC to minimize any risk of infection to anyone visiting our office and to keep our employees, our clients, and our guests safe and comfortable.

New Measures:

  • Safety panels have been installed at reception for protection.
  • Social Distancing Signage and COVID-19 Protection Signage is on display throughout the office.
  • Regrettably no handshaking or hugging is observed.
  • All guests and visitors are required to wear a mask to enter the building and our office suite. If you do not have one, we will provide one to you free of charge.
  • All of our Attorneys and staff will wear masks at all client meetings.
  • Our conference rooms allow for in person Social Distancing meetings plus safety shields have been installed for further protection.
  • Our office, including all surfaces, has been professionally “Deep Cleaned” with environmentally approved antibacterial disinfectant.
  • Additional, frequent deep-cleaning of high-frequency touch-points such as door handles and arm rests will be done on a regular basis.
  • Personal hygiene is maintained via frequent hand washing by attorneys and staff throughout the day.

If you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, if you have recently traveled, or if you feel ill, do not come into our office but rather let us assist you virtually.

Of course visiting our office remains optional. We continue to provide virtual client services via FaceTime, Zoom, GoToMeeting and more, if you prefer. Our experienced attorneys are available to help you and your family accomplish your planning goals, whether in person or online.
